When does Black Ops Haunted House open this fall season?
Our opening night is on Friday, September 26th. This is for the Haunted House only, please check out Black Ops Paintball & Airsoft for the Zombie Hayride Schedule.
What is the difference between the haunted house and the zombie hayride?
Black Ops Haunted House is a large outdoor walkthrough trail that features its own midway with an outdoor movie, concessions, gift shop, hearse rides, etc. It also offers an add on zombie shoot where you can shoot paintballs at zombies on foot. While the Zombie Hayride, located at Black Ops Paintball is a large trailer with paintball markers mounted on the side, where you shoot zombies while riding. Please note that these are two separate attractions close together. The haunted house and zombie hayride can be purchased together as a package deal.
Is Black Ops Haunted House open in the rain?
Yes, we are open rain or shine. We only close under extreme or unsafe weather conditions, such as hurricanes that may put our guests or staff at risk. If we are to close, we will publish online on our social medias and website. During rainfall we recommend dressing appropriately and wearing closed-toe shoes.
Is there a dress code at Black Ops Haunted House?
Yes, for safety reasons closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended due to the uneven terrain, dark trails, and outdoor environment. Please avoid wearing sandals, flip-flops, heels, etc. that may pose a safety risk to you and others. As well, large backpacks and luggage are not allowed in and must be left in your vehicle. Please plan your visit accordingly.
Is the attraction the same every year?
Not completely. We are changing up things year-round. Each time you visit there may be a completely new scene, re-designed scenes, new paths or changes in direction, additions to the midway, etc. It will never be completely the same.
What items are not allowed inside?
For the safety and security of all guests and staff, the following items are strictly prohibited.
No backpacks, large purses or luggage
No smoking, alcohol or other paraphernalia
No flashlights, laser pointers, lighters, open flame or matches
No cameras on the trail without prior permission from owner
No weapons of any kind, including pocketknives, firearms and box cutters
No pets or animals
No high heels, sandals or flipflops
Can I take photos and videos?
No videos or pictures are allowed inside the trail without prior permission from the owner. If we see it, you will be given a warning. If you ignore the warning, you will be escorted out of the trail with no ticket refund. However, videos and photos are allowed in the midway only.
Can I get injured?
Black Ops Haunted House is a non-touch haunt. We take precautions to provide a safe environment. However, all guests enter at their own risk. Open-toe shoes and running is the leading cause of injuries, so please follow our posted and verbal rules and instructions to ensure your safety. By purchasing a ticket and entering the haunt you voluntarily accept all risks, Black Ops Haunted House is not liable for any injuries or accidents before, during, or after your visit. Please pay close attention to the rule giver upon entry.
Can I be removed from Black Ops Haunted House?
Yes, Black Ops Haunted House reserves the right to refuse entry, eject and escort guests from the premises and trail, without refund, at any time for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, or violent, as well as for disregarding our rules, messing with our actors or props, etc. Our rules are strictly enforced to protect the safety and enjoyment of our guests and staff.
Can I enter if I am pregnant or have a disability?
We strongly advise against entering the haunt if you are pregnant, have heart conditions, epilepsy, difficulty walking, or any disability that may pose a risk to your safety. We feature intense strobe lights, fog, uneven terrain, sudden movements, and loud noises. For your safety, please consult with your physician before making any decisions about attending our haunt. Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible, due to our location and terrain. We are in the deep woodlands that may include, steep inclines, declines, uneven ground, rocks, and steps. Please avoid entering the haunt if you or your physician believe it may pose a safety risk.
Can I re-enter the park?
You may leave and return to the midway as you please, following the purchase of a ticket. However, you may only enter the trail one time. There will be no re-entry to the trail after you have gone through.
What happens if I lose something on the trail?
To ensure your personal items are not lost or stolen, we highly recommend leaving all belongings in your vehicle. However, should you lose anything we do have a lost and found located at the ticket booth. If it is lost on the trail we may send a staff member through to look for it, if any are available. If your belongings are not found, leave your name, contact information and a description of the item with our ticket booth staff. Should your item be found we will contact you so you may come and retrieve your item. As well, keep an eye on our Facebook page, we are inclined to post found items in hopes of finding the owner.
Will I get a refund if I change my mind on entering or am too scared?
No, after a ticket is purchased, no refunds will be given. We reserve the right to refuse a refund. Changing your mind or being too scared to enter will not grant you a refund.
Can I change the date of my online ticket?
Yes, you will need to call us to change the date, and it must be at least 24 hours before the date of the ticket.
Can I only do the hearse ride or zombie hunt?
No, you must purchase a ticket to the haunted trail or pre-purchase one online to enter the midway and purchase add-ons. Hearse rides and the Zombie Hunt are an add-on to the haunt not a separate attraction.
